WET System

A wet fire sprinkler system means that, at all times, the overhead fire sprinkler piping is filled with pressurized water. When a fire occurs and the heat activates the sprinklers, water immediately sprays from the activated sprinkler heads.

GAS System

Gas extinguishing systems are applied in fire fighting in an environment where water as an extinguishing agent is undesirable. They are effective and particularly advised in places where valuable and susceptible equipment is stored, which could get damaged with the use of water-based extinguishing agents.

The fire fighting foam concentrate is a collection of bubbles that consists of water, air and special chemicals. The bubbles float on top of flammable liquids and work to extinguish flammable liquid fires. Fire fighting foam extinguishing mechanism: The foam blankets on the fuel surface smothering the fire.

Fire Pumps

They are used to increase the pressure of a water source when that source is not adequate for the system it’s supplying. These are commonly found in buildings that tend to have a high-pressure demand such as high-rises or storage warehouses.

Standpipe System

standpipe extends into the building to supply fire fighting water to the interior of the structure via hose outlets, often located between each pair of floors in stairwells in high rise buildings. Dry standpipes are not filled with water until needed in fire fighting.
